Overview

Asia Theological Seminary (ATS) seeks to keep its tuition fees affordable so that pastors, church leaders, ministry workers, and students preparing for Christian ministry can pursue theological education without an excessive financial burden. At the same time, tuition fees alone do not cover all the costs of providing theological education. The Seminary therefore depends on the financial support of churches, organizations, and individuals who share its commitment to theological education and ministry training. Such support helps meet expenses related to faculty, academic resources, facilities, administration, and other operational needs of the Seminary.

Admission and Tuition Fee Structure

The admission fee is a one-time, non-recurring fee payable at the time of initial enrollment. It covers the administrative costs associated with processing applications, reviewing applicants’ academic qualifications, conducting admission procedures, and completing the enrollment process. The admission fee is not charged again in subsequent semesters. The tuition fee is a recurring fee payable for each semester of study, according to the schedule prescribed by the Seminary.

Students are required to pay their semester tuition fees at least one month before the final examination. They must also complete course registration within the prescribed period to be eligible to take the semester examinations. Students who fail to complete the required tuition payment and course registration within the designated period may not be permitted to sit for the examinations.

Examination Fee

Examination fee is levied to cover the costs of conducting regular assessments throughout the academic year. These assessments are vital for measuring students’ progress and ensuring they meet the academic standards set by the institution. The fee ensures that examinations are administered efficiently and effectively, with adequate resources allocated for their smooth execution.

Thesis Fee

It is required for the supervision and evaluation of graduate thesis. This fee supports the institution in maintaining academic rigor and integrity, as it funds the resources needed for thorough supervision, review, and feedback on students’ research projects. It ensures that graduate thesis meet the high standards expected by the institution and the broader academic community.

Graduation Fee

Graduation fee facilitates organized and memorable graduation ceremonies. This fee covers the costs associated with hosting the ceremony, including the issuance of certificate, arrangement of the event, and other related expenses. It ensures that students’ achievements are celebrated in a formal and dignified manner, providing a meaningful conclusion to their academic journey.

Mark Sheet Fee

Mark sheet ensures the issuance of official transcripts and mark sheets. These documents are essential for students as they pursue further education or enter the job market. The fee covers the administrative costs of preparing and distributing these official records, ensuring that students have timely and accurate documentation of their academic performance.

Scholarship Information

ATS Seminary provides substantial financial support to its intellectually gifted students by offering a 50% scholarship on each semester’s bill for those with A-level grades. This scholarship is designed to be renewed each semester, contingent upon the student’s ongoing academic performance, thereby encouraging sustained excellence. Importantly, ATS ensures that students are not burdened with the full cost of their education, making higher education more accessible.
